Need more data for your trip? You can easily top up your AdventureSIMs eSIM directly through the AdventureSIMs app.
How to top up your eSIM #
To add more data to an existing eSIM:
- Open the AdventureSIMs app.
- Go to the My eSIMs page.
- Find the eSIM you would like to top up.
- Tap Top Up.
- Choose the top-up option you would like to add.
- Complete checkout.
Once your purchase is successful, the extra data and validity will be added to your eSIM instantly.
What does a top-up include? #
A top-up adds both:
- Extra data
- Extra validity days
This means your eSIM receives more data to use, as well as additional time before the plan expires.
Example #
Let’s say your eSIM currently has:
- 5GB of data remaining
- 10 days of validity remaining
You then purchase a 20GB / 30 Day top-up.
Your eSIM would now have:
- 25GB of data remaining
- 40 days of validity remaining
Top-ups are added to your existing balance and validity. Nothing is replaced or reset.
How long do top-ups take? #
Top-ups are typically applied instantly.
Once processed, your updated data allowance and validity should appear in the AdventureSIMs app shortly after purchase.
Viewing your top-up history #
You can view all top-ups that have been applied to an eSIM directly within the app.
To view your top-up history:
- Open the My eSIMs page.
- Find the relevant eSIM.
- Tap View Top Up History.
This will show all top-ups that have been purchased and applied to that eSIM.
Is there a limit to how many times I can top up? #
Yes. At this stage, a single eSIM can support a maximum of 10 top-ups.
If you reach this limit, you may need to purchase a new eSIM.
Are top-ups refundable? #
Top-ups are non-refundable once purchased.
Because top-ups are applied instantly to an existing eSIM service, they cannot be cancelled or refunded after purchase.
